Each fall, the Maverick Marauders and the Department of Campus Recreation organizes the campus-wide mud volleyball tournament that dates back to 1989. The event is one of the most popular and muddiest traditions on the UT Arlington campus with more than 1,000 student participants. Traditionally, Oozeball is held on the third Friday in September at the Oozeball lots located at Summit and Greek Row.
