Deck the Mall lights up campus Tuesday

The official start of the campus holiday season begins at 6:30 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 27, with the fourth annual Deck the Mall lighting ceremony on the Library mall.

Allan Saxe, associate professor of political science, will make a presentation before flipping the switch to illuminate 30,000 lights. The lights will continue to brighten the campus until the beginning of the new year.

Free cookies, hot chocolate, apple cider, and crafts to make and take home will be available at the event, which is sponsored by EXCEL Campus Activities.
