The creation of the Fort Worth Alumni Chapter was motivated by a
group of MBA students enrolled in the Center's first cohort. In 2003
these Mavericks recognized the value of staying connected to each other
and to UT Arlington, thus forming the organization we continue to build
today. The chapter has grown to include members with varied degree
backgrounds and diverse professional experience.
Our Chapter supports UT Arlington and the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center by:
- Promoting the University to Downtown and Greater Fort Worth
- Mentoring and providing job assistance for UT Arlington Fort Worth Center students and graduates
- Assisting with bringing "tier-one" national status to the University and growing the Fort Worth Center to Campus status
- Using our voice to Influence and encourage greater financial support
- Working closely with public schools, Tarrant County College,
local businesses, and professional associations to encourage enrollment
and meet our objectives
We have the privilege of promoting the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center:
- State of the art facilities located in Downtown Fort Worth
- Enrollment has had double digit increases every semester since moving to Downtown Fort Worth
- Expanding number of undergraduate and graduate program offerings in a variety of disciplines
- Programs and initiatives that support public schools and Tarrant County College teachers and students
And we do all of this knowing we must also meet Chapter member needs including:
- Networking and business opportunities
