Word has come in that someone is making very aggressive fund-raising calls saying they are the UTA Alumni Association.  Rest assured that these folks do not represent us.  We are investigating the source of the calls.  If you receive such calls, please ask who they are, where they are calling from and who they actually represent and pass word along to me.  Thanks for the help in protecting our reputation.  Contact me at president@utaalumni.org.

What a Great Men's Basketball Game!  And a great group of Alumni gathering to support the MAVS teams.  We met at the Thornton Inn for pregame festivities provided by Fuzzy's Tacos.  We then headed over to College Park to put our rally towels to good use.  The Sunbelt conference tourney starts this next week.  Let's keep our MAVS well supported. GO MAVS!

Join us on March 5 for an Alumni gathering to support the Maverick basketball teams.  We have a limited number of free tickets available, courtesy of the Alumni Association.  Email the treasurer@utaalumni.org for information.  Even when the freebies run out, the tickets for the game at College Park are inexpensive and a great value and you can't argue the amount of fun for the cost.  There will be a 3:45 pm pre-game gathering for the Alumni at the Thornton Inn.  We want our Alumni to help us fill the stands to cheer
