The scuttlebutt was that a change in Basketball was coming, likely another former Tech Assistant Coach.  We wish Coach Cross every success going forward.  He epitomized the Maverick tradition.  "We the willing, lead by the able, have done so much, with so little, for so long, we can do the damned near miraculous on a shoestring budget."  Thanks Coach, words simply cannot express what we feel.

The African-American Alumni Banquet Was A Great Success

It was a full house Saturday night for the African-American Alumni Banquet.  Our own Board member Sonya Rundles handled the emcee honors with style and grace.  It was an amazing night of Alumnus after Alumnus being recognized for a wide range of Honors, Achievements and Service to the Community.  The Alumni Association's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Walter Price, also a founding member of the African-American Alumni Chapter, was recognized for THIRTY years of service to the Chapter.  A recurring and underlying thread to the Honorees' memories of the
