On November 9th, at 5:30 pm, we will be taking over the College Park Suite for a short meeting to bring everyone up to date on the Association, and renew past relationships. September 18 was another beautiful night for watching the Rangers. 50 amazing friends gathered to cheer the Rangers on. We didn't win, but it was a great night of the Maverick faithful renewing friendships and swapping stories. For those who didn't make it, the Board has heard our members, it's now a tradition. Zeb Strong left behind a larger-than-life legend and a truly amazing life's work. Likely half of the hundreds of people attending his Wake and Homegoing Service at Concord Church stood to be recognized as members of the Maverick Faithful who were touched by this man's life and his works. It would be interesting to have someone videotape those remembrances at the next AA Scholarship Banquet. There is also a petition making the rounds to rename a street around UTA in his honor.
