The African-American Alumni Banquet Was A Great Success

It was a full house Saturday night for the African-American Alumni Banquet.  Our own Board member Sonya Rundles handled the emcee honors with style and grace.  It was an amazing night of Alumnus after Alumnus being recognized for a wide range of Honors, Achievements and Service to the Community.  The Alumni Association's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Walter Price, also a founding member of the African-American Alumni Chapter, was recognized for THIRTY years of service to the Chapter.  A recurring and underlying thread to the Honorees' memories of their time at UTA was the support of Zeb Strong.  With a dozen folks of Zeb's character, I believe you could set right most of the world's ills.  For those present, thanks for your attendance.  For those who missed it, it was truly a special night.  Hopefully, we will see you next year.
